Max Ma

Max Ma (born Shixiao Yuan, 1992) is a Canadian artist, who originally trained as an industrial designer before discovering his interest in art and film. His industrial design training lends itself to an approach that emphasizes sculptural forms and novel narrative structures. He has previously worked as a graphic designer at Concrete and the Canadian Art Foundation. He now focuses on self-directed projects in art and film.
